I have a concept for a TV Show called Teen Acres. Think MTV Real World–a bunch of teens gather to live for a season as roommates in a Manhattan penthouse. But that’s just where they’re staying the first night, as the hosts explain they’re about to take a road trip upstate to Hooterville–the location of the Green Acres family TV show.

There, they face challenges and hardships together living on a farm with almost no services. Same electricity setup as Green Acres, and they can only make phone calls by climbing up a nearby pole. They make bad deals for things they need by negotiating with a selfish redneck neighbor. Between the trials and tribulations, there is downtime where they build friendships and love interests as they work the fields, cook, go to barn dances, and make trips to the general store.
